Joy Division: Piece by Piece is the definitive collection of writings on the legendary cult band. In addition to collecting all Morleyrsquo;s classic works about the band from the late 1970s/early 1980s; this unique book includes his eloquent Ian Curtis obituary and his hindsight pieces on the significance of the group; framed by an extensive retrospective essay. Contemporary elements include Morleyrsquo;s critique of the films 24 Hour Party People ndash; which told the story of the bandrsquo;s record label; Factory ndash; and Control; for which the author visited the set during production. Most movingly; Morley includes the original text that grew into his literary work Nothing; which parallels the suicide of Curtis with that of his own father. He also evokes the zeitgeist and the lsquo;psycho-geographyrsquo; of Manchester; which combined to produce the most uniquely intense rock group ever.

I recently got into coloringBy SilverdogUnlike some other Kindle coloring books. this one has a link to download and print these on your own. I like that. I recently got into coloring. Its something my son and I can do together while we are at the cabin relaxing. My son is only 6 so he cant color these very well but its an activity he and I can do together and share our results with one another.Disclaimer - I received this ebook for free in exchange for my honest. unbiased. and fair review. In no way has this influenced my review. I rely on reviews just as much as you do and detest fake five star reviews. I very much appreciate reviewers who take the time to provide their honest and unbiased reviews and. for that. I am extremely grateful to them. When I need or would like particular products. Good Coloring for KidsBy RockyMy little niece loves to come over and color with her Auntie Rocky. Its one of the few activities that keeps the 4 year old demon spawn be cool and relaxed. I opted to go with the E-book Kindle edition first before actually buying the book to make sure it was one her and I would both enjoy working on together. Even though it states you cannot color these. with a few simple tricks and the help of Google/Lifehacks. you can easily turn them in PDF files and print the pages off at home or whatnot.Personally. for an adult. the pictures are rather boring and dull. very simplistic. So if you are an adult color wanting for the sole purpose of yourself. this one just wouldnt cut it. I was a little displeased in general with how little space the geometric shapes took up on the page. I was able to condense down the number of pages by printing 2 pictures per page and still had plenty of room above. in the middle. and below of the designs needing to be colored. As for my little niece though. she has a good bit of fun coloring them and it makes her think a little more about using colors that go together. The pictures are small enough so she can color several in one sitting and feel like she has accomplished a lot. I will say for how simple the designs are. they are well drawn and the lines connect very well so it doesnt look like a bad photoshop or paint job. For kids. I would recommend this coloring book to help keep them distracted for 30 minutes or a good way to share the hobby of coloring among a child and an adult.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Nice Simple Pictures To ColorBy AbbyI saw this free on my Kindle so I could preview it before I purchase the actual coloring book. The pictures. or shapes. would be good for kids. They look more like mandalas to me. but I am not a coloring book expert. There are only 14 pictures on my Kindle of this book. but I am not sure how many are actually in the full book. It says there are 46 pages total in the book so I would hope there would be more at the price they are asking you to pay. I was able to download some coloring pages for free. but nothing out of this specific book. Overall. if your child enjoys coloring simple patterns. shapes. snowflakes. mandalas. then I would recommend it.I received this product at discount for my honest testing and review. I know that a lot of people dismiss reviews from people who get items discounted or free. but I am just as honest in a review that I got discounted as one that I did not. I am under no obligation to provide a positive review and receive no incentives or rewards for doing so. My aim is to highlight features and drawbacks that I would want to know about as a buyer. not hype the product for the manufacturer. My remarks are sincere and my own. While it is true that many items are received at discounted rates or complimentary. my reviews are completely honest and are my personal experiences with the product. Again. it is just my opinion. your own opinion might vary. I received no monetary compensation and I am not required to give a good review.
