This book was incredibly helpful with terms and definitions as I worked my way through freshman year. I know I will use this book for years to come. If anyone is looking to learn about architecture and how space interacts with our world; this is a perfect book. I rate it very highly!!!0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. WyllieI have been teaching architecture and interior architecture for since 2002 and this book elegantly conveys the foundation language needed for the beginning design student and should become one of those books that you never want to sell after leaving school. This book should also be reviewed by professional architects and designers every so often to remind themselves that even real design commissions should start with strong concepts.
