The pictures of all the buildings brought back nostalgic memories of the buildings that we passed walking to school or to church; playing in the streets; and the closeness of the people living in East Boston during a hard time when many of our sons; brothers; and fathers were being sent out to fight for us.. I sent a copy to my brother who left East Boston High School to join the Navy as a sonar man; patrolling against the U-Boats (German submarines) that were threatening and sinking the ships off of our East Coast.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.
