Lost Tea Rooms of Downtown Cincinnati: Reflections Recipes (American Palate)

[audiobook] Lost Tea Rooms of Downtown Cincinnati: Reflections Recipes (American Palate) by Cynthia Kuhn Beischel in Arts-Photography

Description

(Applause Acting Series). While contemporary culture may be fixated on youthful sex appeal; the most complex and interesting characters in dramatic literature have been (and still are) those over 40 years old. Whether its Willy Loman in Death of a Salesman ; Gorgeous Teitelbaum in Wendy Wassersteins Sisters Rosenzweig ; or Troy the former big leaguer in August Wilsons Fences ; these characters have a texture and a gravitas that cant be found in younger roles. This volume selects from classical sources like Euripides Medea and Shakespeares King Lear ; as well as contemporary ones like Yasmina Rezas God of Carnage ; Christopher Durangs Vonya and Sonia and Masha and Spike ; and David Lindsay-Abaires Good People ; to provide a challenging and enriching experience for both the dedicated professional and the inquisitive amateur.

This book brings back many memories of taking the bus downtown with my grandmother to shop for back to school clothes. Easter outfits. etc. We would always finish up with a meal at the Shillitos restaurant of Seven Hills sandwiches and ice cream cake roll before getting back on the bus. I would also take the bus with my girlfriends to spend the day downtown. It jogged my memories about the different places down there and was good to know the history of and the passing of great old places. The pictures were great. Im very happy with this purchase and my sister said it brought tears to her eyes when I sent her copy as a birthday gift. Thanks for a great experience.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.
