Every firm listed in this book deserves its own well-researched book; instead of only a few pages in a compilation. But until the day comes when all those books are published; this book will do yeomans work to help tell the story. Just buy it already!Some of the firms in this book played a significant role in helping the USA win World War II (e.g.; Irving). Many Western NY-ers found gainful employment in the firms documented in this book. Those hard-working folks deserve to have the work they performed somehow recognized and documented.There are many history books about WNY; but few are as interesting as this one. Not many people can buy every book published about WNY; but this book should be near the top of your "Buy It List."
