The arrangements are true to the original sound. but like one reviewer. the arrangements are not created for the advanced pianist. I love his choices for the small book. I have found that the huge books full of "variety" of easy play songs are not a good choice for me. They are too heavy for the piano tray and I usually have them cut and holes punched for favorite notebooks for storage and placement on my piano ledge. It is all a learning curve from start to intermediate and then to advanced. The books accumulate and I become perplexed at just what to do with all of them. Phillip Keveren Series is just right for the beginning student and then on to the advanced level. Oddly.
