I didnt have time to read it before wrapping it up; but glanced quickly at it. The friend is a big fan of Tim Rowland and last year I gifted her with a more recent book of his that she had more or less "asked for". As Marylanders for a pleasant chapter of our lives; Im fond of learning more about the history of western Maryland which I was pretty ignorant of most of my life. The recipient of the book is a history buff; so hopefully the book has intrigued her with its homespun tales of the old days.
