Enthralling and IngeniousBy A readerI learned of this book in a radio interview with Art Spiegelman; and bought it sight unseen as a gift for someone whos an artist and a history buff. We examined it together and were enthralled with it. The images are overwhelmingly powerful. We could not believe that we hadnt heard of Si Lewen before.We were also impressed by the ingenious physical construction of the book; which met Lewens criterion of wanting his images to be displayed right next to each other.PARADE is of great artistic and historical significance and I recommend it highly.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.
