A great introduction to Max/MSPBy MarcoV.J. takes you by hand and teaches you all the basics of Max/MSP/Jitter. with some good insights about music theory and composition.During each chapter. you will build one or more patches that are actually useful (the ear training project for example is pretty cool) and step by step you will be introduced to all the main objects and how they interact with each other.If "Electronic Music and Sound Design" (A. Cipriani. M.Giri) is way more complete. this book does a better job to introduce you in the Max/MSP world.
