Meetings with Morrissey

[audiobook] Meetings with Morrissey by Len Brown at Arts-Photography

Description

Out of all the many stars and celebrities Hollywood has produced; only a handful have achieved the famemdash;and; some would say; infamymdash;of Orson Welles; the creator and star of what is arguably the greatest American film; Citizen Kane. Many books have been written about him; detailing his achievements as an artist as well his foibles as a human being. None of them; however; has gotten so close to the real man as does Chris Welles Feders beautifully realized portrait of her father. In My Fathers Shadow is a classic story of a life lived in the public eye; told with affection and the wide-eyed wonder of a daughter who never stopped believing that someday she would truly know and understand her elusive and larger-than-life father. The result is a moving and insightful look at life in the shadow of a legendary figure and an immensely entertaining story of growing up in the unreal reality of Hollywood; enhanced by Welles Feders collection of many never-before-seen family photographs.

Review
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Nice Moments Through HistoryBy Kindle CustomerA good book about Len Browns meetings and conversations with Morrissey. I liked the authors reviews of gigs and Morrisseys music. It was nice to read a book about the man that seemed to be by a genuine fan. It was also nice to read about Len and Morrissey aging together. Good read! Very insightful.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Dear dear LenBy Mark DugganGreat book on such an amazing topic. Kenny does well here but at times test desperately to make "Moz" join his team. Still much better and less deliberately controversial then Johnny Rogan. A great read. Well researched and executed3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Morrissey fans rejoice!By GrouchoMarxistMuch as I enjoyed Johnny Rogans well-researched "Morrissey and Marr: The Severed Alliance." there was one very important voice missing from the pages of that book: Steven Patrick Morrisseys. Len Browns excellent work gives us Morrissey in all his wondrously complicated splendor. and its impossible to put down.If you love Morrissey as much as I do. I dont have to say anything else to you. Read this book! Now!
