A must have for all sewers that design their own clothing and make patterns. Also makes converting patterns to pdf format easier. Fantastic results!By E KhalifehI received this book a few weeks ago wanting to draft a bomber jacket for my husband. To start. let me say. Ive been in college for the past 2 years studying fashion design/patternmaking which has included flat pattern. I was disappointed that drafting a sloper from measurements. custom or otherwise. was NOT part of our flat pattern learning in the college I attended.With this book. I was able to take my husbands measurements. follow the instructions (you do have to be careful that you measure correctly and transfer to the right places) and draft an easy fit jacket sloper for him. And it fit perfectly on the first try! I did change my measurements to inches (so hard to change to metric after 50+ years). but now I have a perfect sloper that I can manipulate to make him the jacket he has been wanting.I liked the book so much that I ordered the Childrens wear and babywear book.
