It offers the reader just the right amount of pertinent information about many amazing artists of interest! It is packed with information to include a wonderful Historic Overview; a Contents page that breaks nearly one hundred artists names into categories such as "Street Messages; Political Slogans; Street Poems;" etc.. This is the very first book that I have read that is 100% dedicated to the literary form of expression; my favorite type of art; in the world of global street art. I particularly fancied reading about the local New York City artists who are world-renowned; but their work and bio made accessible and concise; to include incredible photos as well. Cheers Nicholas Ganz for writing my new; favorite art book!0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Well conceived; executed and illustrated messages on the street.By Ole GadeIn the current near clutter of street art books; this is a well conceived; and well executed volume on a topic only barely touched upon elsewhere. Ganz emphasizes the positive in the incredible variety of messages that festoon outside surfaces; using the work of numerous artists and community groups from around the world; not frequently heard of; and especially on this fairly specialized theme in street art/graffiti. Well done; and quite inexpensive for a fairly recently published work.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
