Nice; short introduction to about 14 of our founding fathers; grab this ebook for free while you can....By ElizabethDefinitely not a what I would call a 6th grade book but I like it as general introduction to some of our founding fathers. Grab it for free while you can otherwise I probably wouldnt pay for it.You can click on "Look inside" and see the first few pages of the book. What you see is the format through the entire short book. There are 14 or 15 founding fathers featured in the book.On one side of the page it has a picture of one of the founding fathers and on the other right next to it; there is a short description of his accomplishments. Pretty straight forward. I do which the book would go into more detail; but its a nice boredom buster for me to have on my iPad for some down time with my kids.If you cant grab this ebook for free; I would check other other Baby Professor ebooks; there seems to always be something offered for free and they seem to rotate through which books are offered. See my review below for Baby Professor books in general.---------There are about 200 books in this ebook series that are offered in the kindle store for either free or for .99cent;. You cant really go wrong with the books offered for free. There is a variety of subjects covered and most of the books follow about the same format. You can take a peek inside the books by clicking "Look Inside" and this is pretty much what you get in each book.Anyway; overall; I do like theses books for their wonderful pictures. It would be nice if the books went into more detail but they are very basic books that I hope will get my kids interested in finding more about each subject.I plan on keeping these books on my iPad for down time for my kids when they get bored waiting different places like the doctors office or practice for a sibling. I sometimes watch a friends 3 year old daughter and she likes to look through the pictures on my phone. I plan on showing her these books to keep her entertained. Maybe if your child has to do a book report on Leaders of America but I honestly can say I would not want to read this book unless I was forced when I was younger. There is a lot of information in this book that I admit; I didnrsquo;t know. After reading it from cover to cover (its less than 15 pages) I lost even more interest in American history. The book is about the founding fathers who were political leaders; that during the American Revolution; helped establish the United States of America.It starts with the first five Presidents of the United States but from there it just gets too detailed. The pictures are fascinating and the information; I am sure; is important. I didnrsquo;t find it something a child; unless they loved history; would find interesting. I tested it out with some of the kids in my daughters 4H group that are between second and 7th grade. They got bored after a few pages. It is very drab; maybe to give an old time look but I think it needs some better pictures instead of simple portraits with a fact or two.Disclosure: I received this sample product at a free or discount rate in exchange for an honest appraisal of the item. As a teacher of elementary students; I would love to incorporate this ebook into a small group activity where I present a main idea or topic to the whole class and then they break up in small groups and discover more material on their own. My mind was continuously racing as I read through this book thinking of different projects I could make on this topic. It is the perfect age group to let them use a kindle to explore and what a better way to do so than with this ebook! I will totally let other teachers know of this opportunity and will keep this seller in mind with other ebooks available.
