Monster Book of Rock Bass Tab (Play It Like It Is Bass)

[audiobook] Monster Book of Rock Bass Tab (Play It Like It Is Bass) by Hal Leonard Corp. at Arts-Photography

Description

Henry Fuseli is famous for his paintings and drawings of nude figures caught in strained and violent poses suggestive of intense emotion. He also had a affinity for inventing chilling fantasies. His sketches or designs numbered about 800; they have admirable qualities of invention and design; and are frequently superior to his paintings. In his drawings; as in his paintings; his method included deliberately exaggerating the due proportions of the parts and throwing his figures into contorted attitudes. One technique involved setting down random points on a sheet; which then became the extreme points of the various limbsmdash;rather like creating a constellation from the unintentional relations of stars. He rarely drew the figure from life; basing his art on study of the antique and Michelangelo. He produced no landscapesmdash;"Damn Nature! Its always puts me out;" was his characteristic exclamationmdash;and painted only two portraits.Fuseli was largely neglected after his death until his rediscovery in the early 20th century by Expressionist painters and Surrealist artists; who admired his romantic subjectivism; complex symbolism and bold composition.

If bringing home interesting / good photos is important to you; this will help a lot. The book definitely got me to some very photogenic sites I would not have known about. Some hobbyist photographers who lived in that area were not aware of some of them! In Charleston; its also very worthwhile to sign up for the History Photo Tour (google it). There are a couple of different routes in the historic area. Joyce gives tips; lots of interesting historical antedotes; and points out great photo ops.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. disappointingBy Patty HankinsOne of the less informative books in the series. Not recommended. Missing info on many well known photo spots in the area2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Expected MoreBy Jerry Smith"Photographing Charleston . . ." is definitely better than having no information; but; I certainly expected more detail for more locations. You can do nearly this well with some research on the web.
