[ePub] My First Scene Book: Acting Out; Acting Up; Acting Right; 51 Scenes for Young Children: 4 (My First Acting) by Kristen Dabrowski at Arts-Photography

Description

What if you found yourself in a whole new world? Let you imagination run free in this scene book; jam-packed with cavemen; gods and goddesses; magic; dragons; time machines; grouchy old ladies; and more! My Second Scene Book is the most challenging in this series and a culmination of all the skills learned in the previous volumes. The book begins with short Skits for Starters; progresses to Classic Talks with a Twist (traditional fairy tales surprisingly reinvented) and Brand-New Tales; and ends with challenging Advanced Adventures for older students. This book has several unique features: Individual scenes can be linked to create full plays; Students decide how Stories end in Pick-an-Adventure Plays; Each scene is followed by critical discussion questions.

"A property with promising capabilities"By Phillip O.This year is the 300th anniversary of the birth of Capability Lancelot Brown (1716-83) ; one of the most influential landscape designers of the mid-Eighteenth century. Brown (who was nicknamed "Capability" because of his oft-repeated phrase to clients that their properties "had promising capabilities") ; designed landscapes for some of Englandrsquo;s wealthiest and most powerful citizens. Brown ignored the prevailing French and Dutch influenced formality of gardens adorned with parterres and topiaries and instead characterized his work with vast sweeping lawns with clumps of trees as focal points. He also incorporated large bodies of water (ponds; streams; etc.). This book gives an overview of Brownrsquo;s life and career; his business practices; clients and competitors. It is generously illustrated and nicely designed. A most enjoyable book!
