[DOC] Nas's Illmatic (33 1/3) by Matthew Gasteier in Arts-Photography

Description

Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not used OCR(Optical Character Recognition); as this leads to bad quality books with introduced typos. (2) In books where there are images such as portraits; maps; sketches etc We have endeavoured to keep the quality of these images; so they represent accurately the original artefact. Although occasionally there may be certain imperfections with these old texts; we feel they deserve to be made available for future generations to enjoy.

A Compelling Memoir.By Tracy NieporentThis is one of those books that will probably be consigned at this point to the dustpan of history; and that would be a shame. It is a first rate read; both with compelling anecdotes about Richard Nixon; and regarding Mr. Garments own personal history. There is very good storytelling here; from someone who was there when important history was being made. Garment was not someone who tried to bring attention to himself; and therefore his name is not easily remembered. This book brings new information to accounts of the Nixon record; that are incomplete without it.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. I LIKE GARMENT SO MUCH MORE THAN HIS BOOKBy Dean AllisonWanted to like this book more. I like Garment; however; he is in love with his subject and cotinued to rationalize; RNMs irrational; and illegal behavior.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. A real-life Zelig tell a good story and writes a good inside history of the Nixon years.By John W. MorrisA well written account of a relatively minor player;but an interesting player in many fields.A secular Jew working with Nixon;in a Catskills jazz band with Alan Greenspan and making it on Wall Street makes a pretty good story
