Nearly Everything Imaginable

[ebooks] Nearly Everything Imaginable by Ronald W. Walker in Arts-Photography

Description

Dance Improvisations is a book for teachers of dance and acting; choreographers; directors; and dance therapists. Systematically offering a complete range of ways to explore dance; it can be used as a syllabus or as a reference for groups of all ages and all levels of experience. The first chapter in Dance Improvisations introduces ways for a group to practice working together and for the dancers to gain an effective awareness of each other. These preliminaries are followed by a body of improvisational problems; organized into three main areas: Space; Time; and Movement Invention. Each area is presented as a series of topics. Each topic progresses from individual exploration to more formally structured group improvisations; with emphasis on learning to work as a group toward common structural goals. This book is the first in its field to go beyond the pursuit of physical inventiveness to nurture the development of structural intuition. Joyce Morgenroth has succeeded in presenting improvisation in a way that is rational and methodical as well as inventive and personal - in the conviction that improvisation at its best is comprised of both form and fancy.

It also looks like it was never even opened up. I have had this camera for years and there is just so much I do not know about it. Well finally I am learning about my camera and I couldnt be happier. Thank you4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. A Canon EOS EssentialBy Reisa MillerThe book lays out everything in an orderly; logical manner. Even the most technically-challenged can understand each section. The explanations are clear and no matter where you open the book; the particular section is well-defined and illustrated. The book is written in language that even a novice with the Canon EOS Rebel XTi will comprehend and appreciate. Exploring advanced exposure modes is why I bought the book but I found that there were several things I wasnt aware of before I even got to those sections. Going through the book from the beginning has reinforced what I already knew; added knowledge and insight I didnt have and enabled me to really get to know my camera; all in a clear; easy-to-understand format. I have other books in the Dummies series and all have been excellently written. This one is no exception. Its everything you want to know about your Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi in easy; and sometimes humorous; language. I highly recommend buying the book as soon as you buy the camera!0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Excellent book to help you get the most out of your cameraBy Sheik YerboutiThere is very little in this book that does not appear in the manual but its better organized and in much larger print. The areas dealing with settings for depth-of-field etc. were somewhat glossed over. This was not an issue for me as my first camera was an Asahi Pentax back in the sixties so I was very familiar with this subject. If youre a newbie; pay particular attention to those topics as they are the difference between a snapshot and a good photo.
