Wish there was more information about the animals but overall cool ebook for free...By ElizabethThere are about 200 books in this ebook series that are offered in the kindle store for either free or for .99cent;. You cant really go wrong with the books offered for free. There is a variety of subjects covered and most of the books follow about the same format. You can take a peek inside the books by clicking "Look Inside" and this is pretty much what you get in each book.I gave this ebook only 4 stars because it just seemed rather short and couldve contained more information with better basic explainations of some terms. It seems the format for this book and most of the Baby Professor books have a picture (these ones obviously had to be computer generated and not the normal cool vivid ones in other books) with a paragraph and facts on the page. Then the next page is just a picture. It would be nice if they had another paragraph on that page as well. But again; since many are free its hard to complain. This book especially seemed to be lacking because the pictures were almost repetitive. Overall; I do like the books in this Baby Professor series but it would be nice if the books went into more detail. They are very basic books that I hope will get my kids interested in finding more about each subject.I plan on keeping these books on my iPad for down time for my kids when they get bored waiting different places like the doctors office or practice for a sibling. I hope these books will spark some interest in my kiddos on various subjects. I also occasionally entertain a friends 3 year old daughter and she loves looking through pictures on my phone. Next time; Im going let her look through these books. Im excited to see which ones she picks out.***** I received this ebook for free for my honest review. *****0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Educational!!!By Vai amp;amp;amp; Kuulei Malloe-AlboroThis is a good book to read and look at pictures of historic animals for children.. I think it was very educational for me also for I had no idea of any of these animals in this book.. My niece loves picture books of animals; so she really enjoyed it and because she get to use my phone to look thru the book which she so loves playing or doing anything on my phone.. We did read it couple times so that she could see all the pictures again and again..Now that i have teached her that she can look at pictures and I can read to her on my phone; she now wants me to download more books on my kindle so she can look at more different pictures and stories.. So thanks for letting me experience this book for now i have to get more of them...I received this product at a discounted/free in exchange for an honest and unbiased review...0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Was not as impressed!By CrystalRiderOut of all the baby professor books we have read this one was the worst one. It was not a horrible book. I have a 3rd grader; 1st grader and kindergartner. Every night we try to spend 20 minutes reading. I was given this book in exchange for my honest feedback. The kindle edition is great and easy to use. These are great quick reads that are visually stimulating as well as fun to read. These are meant to be reference tools not whole subject books. Each page features a fact and a picture. Most of the baby professor books feature stunning images. Of course we did not live back when these animals did and the pictures in this book were not as good of a quality as the rest of the books. I try to have my children read some of each book but this book featured words that I could not even read. The kids did not quite like this one.
