New York Times bestselling creator Tony DiTerlizzi is known for his distinctive style depicting fantastical creatures; horrific monsters; and courageous heroes. His illustrations reshaped and defined the worlds of Advanced Dungeons and Dragons; Planescape; and Magic: The Gathering in the imaginations of legions of devoted roleplaying gamers during the 1990s; before he transitioned to mainstream success with The Spiderwick Chronicles and The Search for WondLa. Collected here for the first time; this book features never-before-seen artwork and photographs; in addition to showcasing DiTerlizzis most iconic roleplaying work with commentary by the artist. Introduction by Christopher Paolini (Eragon) and featuring appreciations by Guillermo del Toro; Brom; Jane Yolen; Holly Black; Zeb Cook; Jeff Easley; and Donato Giancola; among others! Tonys work has a distinct flair; a love for monsters if you will . . . His creatures have the charm of Henson or Rackham but they carry with them hints of their own ecosystem . . . Tony stands alone as a world creator and a weaver of tales; may you treasure these art pieces as much as I do. --Guillermo del Toro

I was so excited for the book to come out I preordered it. I was very pleased to see items I owned showcased in it!! This book is seriously full of artwork with only introducing text before chapters. Im sorry for not giving an in depth review but this copy is going to be put away and kept pristine. I am going to purchase a second copy and use that one for crafting and framing. Im surprised by the lack of reviews for this book as Camilla is a highly sought out artist and her items tend to sell out quickly. I cant think of a better way to spend under $20; youll have hours of enjoyment. If you are slightly prudish there are a few topless pictures but none are vulgar.3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Im in LOVE with Camillas artwork!By Kristin MacArthurI love Camilla dErrico and this book is chock full of beautiful; detailed images of her very vibrant; colorful and unique artwork. I myself am an artist; and I am greatly inspired by her work. I keep this book in in my art studio and flip through it from time to time. Admiring other artists work often helps me get the creative juices flowing! Not only is Rainbow Children great for artists like me to draw inspiration from; it is also a perfect coffee table book or conversation piece for any art lover with an appreciation for pop surrealism and manga-style art. I also recommend her book; Pop Painting; which delves a lot more into her techniques and painting processes; making it an even more valuable resource for an aspiring artist.3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. BUY IT!!!By Dan HughesThis is possibly the most beautiful art book I have ever owned; every page is Gorgeous; the colors are amazing and bright; and the little insights from the artist at the start of each chapter are a nice touch; I really really LOVE this book.
