Dabei geht Sie in Ihrer Analyse uuml;ber die Bezugnahme auf das Dritte Reich hinaus und diskutiert das bdquo;Haus im Schlammldquo; unter Beruuml;cksichtigung von Sierras Intentionen und ihrer kuuml;nstlerischen Uuml;bersetzung. Sie zeigt auszlig;erdem auf; wie extrem widerstauml;ndig der Charakter von Sierras Werk ist und wie wichtig es fuuml;r das Verstauml;ndnis ist; eine genauere Vorstellung; ein deutlicheres Bild von Santiago Sierra als Kuuml;nstler zu erhalten. Zur Orientierung werden mehrere andere Werke; nicht nur von Sierra; herangezogen.

Nice pictoral history of MoorheadBy D-TrainI purchased this book after seeing it at the Minnesota State University Moorhead bookstore because I lived in Moorhead while going to school at MSUM from 2002-2006. I had some knowledge about the history of Moorhead; but I wanted to learn more.This is a very basic book about the history of Moorhead; but it shines because of the images in the book. The images range from the days when Moorhead was simply an area for fur traders to stop for the night; all the way to the renovation of the Holiday Mall area in the 2000s.Some of my favorite images were of Moorheads downtown before the Moorhead Center Mall and city hall were built. There were some very neat businesses downtown; including a bowling alley and movie theatre. They also included images of these businesses being torn down and the development of city hall and the mall.Some other image highlights: Kirbys and Ralphs back when they were both still around; a KKK meeting at the Moorhead armory taken in the 1920s; a parade from 1947 honoring all of Moorheads WWII veterns; the 1897 and 1997 floods; and of course; images of the old Holiday Mall and another of after the mall was torn down and the new buildings being added.All in all; this makes a great coffee table book and a great read as well.
