Pennsylvania Histories by Dennis McGeehanBy Fran HackThe author is Dennis McGeehan. .com has the author listed wrong.The histories written by Dennis McGeehan for Arcadia are very well written and documented. He writes about the history of the place; the people in the picture and adds little tidbits of information that had to come from the older inhabitants of the area because of their homespun nature of the story. Then hell direct the readers attention to some little nuance in the picture itself to really bring an old picture to life. Hes not just a history writer but also a narrator of the life as it happened and brings with the story such reality that I dont want to put it down.
