Description

In just over a decade; he produced more than 2100 artworks; consisting of 860 oil paintings and more than 1;300 watercolors; drawings; sketches and prints. He produced nearly 150 watercolor paintings during his life. Similar to his drawings; Van Gogh often did watercolors as studies before doing an oil painting or as practice. JacobsIrsquo;d like to thank the authors of this book for reigniting my love of coin collecting. I collected coins as a kid (back in the good old days when my eyesight was good enough I could read the dates without a magnifying glass). But over the decades. Irsquo;ve let my interest lapse. Marjoie Akin. James Bard and Kevin Akinrsquo;s book has reminded me why shiny coins are so alluring. And non-shiny coins for that matter. All kinds of coins. They are little pieces of history. And if you read this wonderful and comprehensive book. you wonrsquo;t just learn about the history of money. yoursquo;ll learn about the history of the world.(Full disclosure: Marjorie is in my extended family. But I would have loved this book even if we were from different hominid groups).
