If you click on "first pages"; you will see "Chapter 23"!Excellent novel... one of my favorite Trollope works. Has a light-hearted feel that his work doesnt always necessarily have.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. A really good one!By Paul in L.A.Less famous yet fully delightful. And I thought Id run through the pleasures of Trollope! Wit; insight and sympathy; a lively world and a humane worldview.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. I love Anthony TrollopeBy CustomerI have worked my way through Anthony Trollopes work and had never heard of this one. I enjoyed reading it but I wouldnt call this my favorite book. I liked his sense of humor in this book but it felt a little like a slap stick comedy than his usual study of everyday life.
