There were several media used from watercolor to oils. The way to work out the reflections were a bit confusing but the examples were very clear. The book was really a set of examples. a guide. just because it covered so much information. Any medium or set of skin and hair colors could be a book by itself. The artist took each example through all the steps to a finished picture. It was good enough that a friend wanted to buy one too.3 of 3 people found the following review helpful.
