[ePub] Photographing Maui: Where to Find Perfect Shots and How to Take Them (The Photographer's Guide) by Douglas Peebles in Arts-Photography

Description

Engagement photography used to mean the traditional; conservative headshots found in wedding sections of newspapers everywhere. But The Art of Engagement Photography shows wedding photographers how to tap into a new revenue source by offering couples personalized; upscale engagement sessions and beautiful; romantic images to use in their wedding decorations; invitations; and albums. Wedding and lifestyle photographer Elizabeth Etienne has created an essential guide to the art and business of shooting contemporary engagement photography; featuring insider advice on selling the session; research; posing; postproduction; pricing; and even how to make residual income from the stock and microstock markets.

Out of all the pics in the book. maybe 2 or 3 are good. rest are avg or below avg. I think the author is just a normal dude who takes photos. I dont think he is a photographer. I m an amateur photographer and I feel that I can take better photos than whats in the book.I bought this book because there was no other photography book about Maui. I m giving it a couple of stars because it had some moderately useful tips on where to go for landscape photography.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Good ideas; seems comprehensive for MauiBy william starkeyHad to cancel my trip to Maui (bummer). but this provided me with decent ideas. were I to have gone. I wish geographic-specific photography advice books would give very specific advice for the best spots to get the best or most iconographic pics. like the south end of this beach within 10 meters or so of the rock cluster. for example. The best geographic-specific photography advice book I have is for the SF Bay and NoCal area. and it listed exact locations for Yosemite National Park to frame the best views (and with best times of day. etc.). Almost not other books do this. of course. but this Maui book is still very solid for advice on general vicinities.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Great resource for photographersBy T. HeibeckI found this guide invaluable on my first trip to Maui. He descriptions of locations are detailed enough to help you decide if you want to visit. Although the guide is a few years old I still found the information to be accurate. The authors comments about the crowd and traffic dynamics on Maui through the day for different areas was also very helpful in planning my daily trips. This guide is highly recommend for photographers or general tourists interested in finding some interesting niches in Maui.
