Perfect for anyone who wants to learn or perfect techniqueBy Laura B.[[VIDEOID:moTNV42W9VRX21]]Even if you watch video tutorials or plow through occasional magazine articles about Photoshop Elements. you may well be missing the boat by not having at your side Barbara Brundages excellent book. Im neither a novice nor a pro with PSE. but having the ability to learn and master techniques presented in a straightforward. yet comfortable -- and thorough -- manner has allowed me to actually even sell a couple pictures. Mind you. I dont have a high-end camera. but the book isnt written with just the pros in mind. Its for everyone. Its especially great if youre moving from less sophisticated image-editing programs. or just trying to keep up with the latest techniques in the newest version of Photoshop Elements. Most of my books are digital downloads these days. but not this one. I like to mark them up. stick notes on them. wrinkle the pages. and learn at my own pace. You cant go wrong.Photoshop Elements 9: The Missing Manual115 of 118 people found the following review helpful. missing manualBy Bruce J. WagnerThis book is what it is - the missing manual. If you are looking for creative uses then you probably want another book (although there are many creative use features in the book). When I think of a manual - it covers all the major parts of the program and gives insights on how to use the program and this book succeeds. I keep this "bible on my desk as a quick reference to trouble shooting and how to use different tools of this feature laden program.
