I have lent the book to some of my fellow Steinway lovers and have not gotten it back. Now I do have it again. I am completely facinated in the making of these masterpieces. Mine is a 1910 model O grand which has been beautifully restored.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. A Great Read for piano loversBy William R. McdonaldIf you have ever wondered about the processes involved in the creation of a concert grand piano. here it is from the lumber yard to the concert hall. It is well written and interesting all the way from beginning to end. I now know more about what goes into a piano than I ever thought I need to know. I enjoyed the book a lot/0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
