I was given the download free of charge so that I could read it and leave a review. The books in this line of educational products are phenomenal. They contain beautiful pictures of the subject of the book. The download is available via the Kindle app to view on all your electronic devices. It works well on my android table. It is not compatible with my basic Kindle reader so thats something to be aware of. The publisher has listed a large number of educational books to download and view. The download is a sampling of what is in the printed book. Its nice to be able to check the book out before buying it.This particular book explores the vast expanse of our planets oceans. The books contains amazing pictures of sea creatures. I was blown away by the beauty I saw! I think almost any child would be drawn to this book. The many creatures we find in our oceans are beautifully photographed and described. There are so many unusual ones in this book. There are crabs; fish; whales; shrimp; and so much more. The short description that accompanies the photos are easily understood and informative. The pictures are beautiful and tie in well with the information to make it easy for a child to remember. The cutest part is the pictures of the crabs! Third graders would find this book enjoyable but I believe children as young as Kindergarten would enjoy having it read to them. The pictures could be talked about as well and engaging to the younger child. Children as young as preschool age could use the book as a picture book.I hope this review has been helpful to you. Download the book and give it a try! I think you will be pleased with it0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Engaging; Entertaining and Fact Filled Fun !!By J. HawkinsWe love the content and amazing graphics of this book and it is worthy of five stars; however we found some of the content requires editing for grammatical errors. Language for reading purposes are worthy of the third grade level. The book is interesting; offers an expansive amount of vocabulary challenges and keeps young expanding minds engaged. Our son was so disappointed when this book ended... he wanted more to explore; more to read and facts to learn. When your child challenges friends and family with facts from a book theyve read; you know youre on the right path of learning. Even with the few grammatical errors for the U.S. English language this book is well worth reading to your child(ren) or having them read to you. Very engaging and not boring; especially when your child wants to read more instead of playing video games. Two thumbs up to the writer because few things in life are able to successfully compete with video games for a childs attention; even when strict parenting rules are enforced to encourage more reading and less video game or television time. Thanks for another excellent book !!1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. The book only covers animals; nothing else. And I cant believe that they didnt mention sea turtles!!! >.
