The visuals make it so enjoyable on top of the fact that its Gods word. The paper is bible paper so care with note taking is necessary. This is one of the most beautiful bibles I have ever seen. The highlighted book and chapter names are a nice touch and the colors; drawings; and artistic verses make this a stunning addition to anyones bible collection. The colorful bits range from small verses in a small area to 2-page full color spreads of popular verses. There is also a large margin for adding notes or your own journaling. (There are other bible that have a similar layout but are all black and white so you can color them yourself - this is NOT that way - this bible has all the color added to it.) I want to buy one of these for everyone I know. Im not even kidding. I cant wait until they make it in my favorite version - Holman Christian Standard Bible.Like many others; I rely heavily on customer reviews before purchasing anything anywhere (on or at brick-and-mortar stores).
