I found it to be very informative about many regions/ cities of Spain the author travelled when visited Spain from Barcelona; Zaragozza; Valladolid; Burgos; Madrid; Toledo; and the lovely Andalusia. He described bery accurately ; but with passion also the not only the cities itself; but the local people habits and attitude which is very nice.Tourism was not developed in the time this book was written; therefore a foreigner was treated more friendly and welcomed.I would recommend before a trip to SPain
