Additionally; the author talks too much about himself; in a very superfluous and self-aggrandizing way. Finally; I wonder if anyone even proofed this Kindle version? The typos are sometimes hilarious: "They (Yoko and John) named their son Scan." At any rate; the book is still offers an interesting look at the band members early years and formation; hence the three-star rating.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. GoodBy Pen NameSurprisingly well written and insightful. Brings people into human clarity. The portion of the book where Brown is employed by Apple going forward to the end is especially alive.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. ... my first book about The Beatles It was very good and informativeBy corina morenoThis was my first book about The BeatlesIt was very good and informative. I actually liked the "early days" info; but seemed extremely rushed at the end.I would have enjoyed more details about what they all did in the decade following the break up if the band.
