Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not used OCR(Optical Character Recognition); as this leads to bad quality books with introduced typos. (2) In books where there are images such as portraits; maps; sketches etc We have endeavoured to keep the quality of these images; so they represent accurately the original artefact. Although occasionally there may be certain imperfections with these old texts; we feel they deserve to be made available for future generations to enjoy.

This set of how to books are invaluable and the EASY GUIDE TO SEWING LININGS is running at $100!!! Which is just stupid. I bought it as a download for $11; just keep looking on line.But; with that said; I think I bought 9 out of the 10 books available and if you get them used you can get tham all for about $100 at most; which is well worth the money.These books are great for the beginner to internediate sewer with lost of helpful information. I like the book so well for its alterations and sewing guides; that I bought this copy for the electronic format. We all know how hard it is to find a good pair of pants; with this book; that will be a lost memory! I cant wait to try the tips givin in this book. The illustrations make it so easy to understand the different adjustments and body types; and they totally cover them all! Grateful for this book!
