Great teaching tool. inspirational survey of image-makingBy SHThis is a fantastic teaching tool. as well as a wonderful survey of image-making practices that extends beyond photography. The practical "how-to" diagrams and photos are an interesting creative project in and of themselves. I highly recommend this book to anyone teaching photography. or to any artist that might be interested in the technical aspects of photography. or interested in the conceptual exploration of the photographic image.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Bottomless Pit of ResourcesBy Stuart MurdochFor my own pedagogical practice this book and its attendant website have become indispensable. If you are looking for fresh ways to inspire students about photography or just curious yourself about the history and processes this is a must own book.
