Great information; but WAY overpriced for the contentBy kaysaThe book offers a great deal of information on wood; from basic anatomy to decay to preservation. It is well written and would be accessible even to those outside of wood science and the restoration fields.HOWEVER; for the price; I expected at least some color images. There are numerous times in the book when images used to detail comments in the book fell flat because they were in black and white. I understand that part of the cost comes from this being an English translation of a German book; but the price is still very unreasonable. Interlibrary loan this book - it isnt worth the price.
