I was looking for something for my grandfather for Christmas and he s notoriously difficult to shop for. He is from Greenville (still lives there). so I thought this would be something he would really enjoy. It turns out he knows the author and the author even asked for his input on some of this book. but he had never seen the finished product. For that alone. I give it 5 stars. but I looked through the book. too. and it really is full of great pictures and stories of the history of Greenville. SC.2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. We have enjoyed sharing these photos with him. The book is large enough to allow the photos to be easily viewed. and it is compact enough to make it easy to handle.
