[PDF] Renegotiating the Body: Feminist Art in 1970s London by John Hare at Arts-Photography

Description

Known affectionately as "The Red Book;" Bruno Nettls The Study of Ethnomusicology became a classic upon its original publication in 1983. Scholars and students alike have hailed it not just for its insights but for a disarming; witty style able to engage and entertain even casual readers while providing essential grounding in the field. In this third edition; Nettl revises the text throughout; adding new chapters and discussions that take into account recent developments across the field and reflecting on how his thinking has changed or even reversed itself during his sixty-year career. An updated bibliography rounds out the volume.

ClarkI bought this for my 10 year old who has just started to learn the piano at the recommendation of his teacher. The songs are very easy for him to play. He is really enjoying learning to play some music that he recognizes. His favorite song is Good King Wenceslas. The arrangements are quite nice. It does seem that the further you get into the book; the tougher they get. List of songs in the book are:1. Good King Wenceslas2. Jingle Bells3. Jolly Old Saint Nicholas4. Up on the Housetop5. Away in a Manger6. Go; Tell it on the Mountain7. We Three Kings of Orient Are8. O Come; Little Children9. O Come; All Ye Faithful10. Dance of the Reed Flutes11. O Come; O Come Emmanuel1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. This is excellent for beginner students who are just getting into reading ...By Alanna F. GeisemanThis is excellent for beginner students who are just getting into reading music on the staff. The songs are simple with a nice teacher duet. My daughter just turned 9 and has been taking lessons for about 4 months; and this is perfect for her.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
