Fun Facts Excellent Read!By history buffThese fellows certainly did their homework with regards to researching the neighborhood. They drew on census records and other primary research that corrected a lot of misinformation; misspellings; and outright errors self published in earlier booklets on the neighborhood by J. Kelly. Bravo to the writers who compiled such fascinating stories about the people that lived in these grand houses; and their explanation on the evolution of the neighborhood and architecture. They solved all the mysteries I had walking around the community: I now know why that house at St Paul and 28th Street has slate shingles for siding!
