Excellent ReadBy Judith DamronThis is a book for anyone interested in being centered in life; with the pottery wheel and clay as the perfect metaphor. It is an old book with an eternal message. For potters and non potters alike; I highly recommend this book.10 of 10 people found the following review helpful. Not too rigid; not too loose - a just right centerBy Wayne BenensonI have no comment to add on the other excellent reviews but this. Centering is a "right on time" gem. I used to wait for the new album of my favorite musician or group to gain instruction or affirmation on my life journey. I then looked to books and movies and plays to do the same. As I got older I became more of a curmudgeon; teachers were harder to find. I became aware of Centering on a fluke. I was struggling with my own slippery center. I expected to do battle with the author over finding the whole in every part. I had an attitude. I began to read the book just before I went to sleep. Little did I expect to be still reading it into the wee wee hours of the morning. Totally unexpectedly my teacher arrived; even though she is no longer breathing on the planet. Thank you MC Richards for being so honest and available and vulnerable. I cant help but underline passages; again and again.Wayne BenensonSeattle; WA
