Irish Bouzouki is primarily about accompaniment. This book gives you some tough exercises and ideas for many different accompanying ideas. Accompanying is more than just whacking some chords. There are options to support the melody. You will grow as an accompanist if you work through this book.4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Excellent Tradtional InatructionBy NeilIf you want to play traditional Irish bouzouki in the style of Andy Irvine; Donal Lunny; and the like; then this is the perfect resource. Mr. Landes teaches "real" Irish accompaniment - not just playing chords; but getting a true feel for traditional Celtic music; which includes drones; counter-melodies; and rhythm. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to learn this unique and cool instrument.0 of 1 people found the following review helpful.
