Each study is based on the chord changes of a well-known jazz standard; making your efforts well worth the investment of time. Be forewarned: to get the most out of these studies; one must be able to sightread well (no TAB here)! Also; the student must possess the capacity to analyze the chord structures; as the chords are not labeled. But; as a result of working on these studies; the student will gain the ability to create chord movements that flow from chord to chord; many guitarists know how to play a variety of chords; but do not know how to connect them logically in a chord progression; this book shows the student how to do just that!
