London. is a treasure trove of history. with a large helping of arcane symbolism. revealed in minute detail by master of Earth Mysteries. Nigel Pennick. Unfortunately. like so many geomantic constructions in history and "pre-history" the (originally unfinished) masterwork Chapel has weathered many assaults by later hands ignorant of the significance of the original plan. Pennick shows the Chapel as part of a beautifully symmetric patter of three overlapping circles. Cambridge has numerous colleges and chapels in a very small area of several blocks and Pennicks analyis of the geometric pattern of buildings astounds.
