Tim covers it all in this book from setting up a studio. marketing yourself. booking and shooting... all the way to order sessions and retouching. Tim is the master. I got into shooting seniors about 12 years ago and Timwas my first and still best inspiration. The book is written so that even those just starting can understand. But its not just info for beginners. Ive learned a lot over the years but you never know it all and finding little tips and tricks just become more and more valuable. If your just starting out this book will fast forward you. If your a seasoned professional. your still going to get some great little nuggets. Highly recommended!!!0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Good info. but make sure his photography style is a fit for youBy MrDannerFor a book like this to be helpful to me. I need both excellent photography and excellent information. I feel the information provided is good. albeit pretty basic. but the photography leaves a lot to be desired. I say that partly because its just not my style. His work is. in my opinion. over processed with very porcelain skin on the models. Also. every single photo is posed. sometimes over posed. without any more natural feeling images. For me personally. this book just didnt work. But since the image style is my own personal opinion. and the information is pretty solid. I think four stars is a good balance.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.
