Memory LaneBy chickenlilThis is a great compilation of photos and history of Levittown; where I grew up - and left at age 18 - I was surprised to learn many of the details and had not realized what a significant cultural "development" it was...A great place to raise a family and grow up; we were very free as children to live in a safe community; with ample resources for entetainment; exercise; involvement and excellent schools; as well as those "wonderful homes". Looking back with fondness and understanding I did not have as a child; this book is a trip down memory lane. I shared it at a family gathering and it was a big hit; esp. some of the older people who recognized their friends photos in the book.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
