Description

Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not used OCR(Optical Character Recognition); as this leads to bad quality books with introduced typos. (2) In books where there are images such as portraits; maps; sketches etc We have endeavoured to keep the quality of these images; so they represent accurately the original artefact. Although occasionally there may be certain imperfections with these old texts; we feel they deserve to be made available for future generations to enjoy.

The camera itself has unlimited combinations and authors manage to break it down into simple steps... now the hard part will be remembering everything but I suggest reading the book and practicing its your Rebel so it becomes automatic reflex on changing settings quickly for getting those special shots just right.25 of 25 people found the following review helpful. A must have for your personal LibraryBy D. WalkerThis was my FIRST "for Dummies" book. I was surprised how well written it actually was. Years ago; I was very much into film (35mm) photogrphay and did a lot of work in Darkrooms. At age 52 I made the switch to Digital Photography! Lets face it; when you bought the T2i/550D; you bought a computer! As I read this book; I could not wait to get to the later chapters; dont skip the early chapters; you will want to know everything about your camera!Enjoy!-Doug10 of 10 people found the following review helpful. Great for digital SRL beginners!By SusieDShips fast. Definitely for people that have never used a SLR camera. Out of the 350 pages; Im already on page 250 (in 5 days; really taking my time to make sure I understand everything before moving forward). Instead of going through the book with camera in hand; I first went through most of the chapters (until I finished chapter 5); and then went back to the beginning to setup the camera. Since I had never held a SLR before and have no concept of SLR photography; this exercise helped me a lot because the book explains everything to my level and the illustrations (photos) are all over the book. I recommend this book especially for beginners. When my husband bought the camera early December we got a free 2-hour class but they were booked all the way until February (our class in finally this Saturday). Not wanting to wait that long to use the camera; I bought the book and I feel comfortable with the camera now. I am very impressed.
