Across America; strip clubs have come under attack by a politically aggressive segment of the Christian Right. Using plausible-sounding but factually untrue arguments about the harmful effects of strip clubs on their communities; the Christian Right has stoked public outrage and incited local and state governments to impose onerous restrictions on the clubs with the intent of dismantling the exotic dance industry. But an even larger agenda is at work; according to Judith Lynne Hanna. In Naked Truth; she builds a convincing case that the attack on exotic dance is part of the activist Christian Rightrsquo;s ldquo;grand designrdquo; to supplant constitutional democracy in America with a Bible-based theocracy.Hanna takes readers onstage; backstage; and into the community and courts to reveal the conflicts; charges; and realities that are playing out at the intersection of erotic fantasy; religion; politics; and law. She explains why exotic dance is a legitimate form of artistic communication and debunks the many myths and untruths that the Christian Right uses to fight strip clubs. Hanna also demonstrates that while the fight happens at the local level; it is part of a national campaign to regulate sexuality and punish those who do not adhere to Scripture-based moral values. Ultimately; she argues; the naked truth is that the separation of church and state is under siege and our civil libertiesmdash;free speech; womenrsquo;s rights; and free enterprisemdash;are at stake.

I nearly ordered the "easy" version instead. but this one is not that difficult. There are a couple places where you have to match triplets with quarters or eighths. but it is pretty trivial.I dont consider myself very good. and havent been playing much. but this sounded OK on the first run through. If youre wavering between this and the easy version. get this one.2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Nice. romantic sheet music! Feel the love and passion!By Duke TogoVery beautiful song. You need to see the movie to understand what the song means and feel the passion. Great piece! This version is the exact same version you find in the songbooks with many other different love songs. I was thinking it was a solo version thats different but its the exact same notes as the others. This variation isnt easy big note but more of a beginner/intermediate version. Not very hard at all. I took piano lessons for 3 years and I have a basic understanding of notes. This version isnt super flowing like the ones you hear on youtube played by professional piano players flying their hands all over the keys up and down but more of a tamed mild flow that stops here and there so sight reading is pretty easy. The sound is pretty nice still. I recommend watching the movie to get the real meaning and feeling of this beautiful piece. Also in the movie is Rachmaninoffs "Rhapsody on the theme of Paganini". Another beautiful piece from the movie. The version I have sounds exactly like the movie. This song is just a small part from a larger score movement from a longer larger piece. I recommend this smooth and nice love song piece filled with romance and passion. Happy playing!2 of 2 people found the following review helpful.
