Drei Monate nachdem er den Auftrag dafuuml;r erhielt wurde die spanische Stadt Guernica im April 1937 durch das faschistische Franco ndash; Regime mit Unterstuuml;tzung der deutschen Truppen bombardiert und vollstauml;ndig zerstouml;rt. In Reaktion auf diese Geschehnisse wauml;hrend des spanischen Buuml;rgerkriegs entstand dann Guernica.Das Bild; das nur in den Touml;nen schwarz; weiszlig; und grau gestaltet ist; hat die Maszlig;e von 349 times;777 cm und hauml;ngt heute im Museum Reina Sofia in Madrid.Diese Hausarbeit hat die Ikonographie Picassos Guernica zum Thema. Schwerpunkt soll dabei auf die Endfassung des Werkes gelegt werden. Ziel der Arbeit ist es weniger die historischen Hintergruuml;nde herauszuarbeiten; sondern vielmehr die Bedeutung des Bildes als ganzes; aber auch der einzelnen Bildelemente darzulegen.Zunauml;chst mouml;chte ich dafuuml;r auf die Entstehungsgeschichte und den historischen Hintergrund des Gemauml;ldes eingehen. Darauf folgend werde ich eine detaillierte Bildbeschreibung anfertigen; auf deren Grundlage die Komposition; die Farbgestaltung; die Leinwandstufen und die Ikonographie erlauml;utert werden.

Better than the owners manualBy gocubzgoThis dummies book. like many others in the series. gives the information you need in a clear and concise format. Many owners manuals are difficult to understand. as the translations from Japanese or Chinese to English can be very confusing. This books author is well versed in the English language. and delivers even more information than you could find in the manual if you read it 3 times.
