Great handbook for music directors!By Leah CoonI am only 1/3 of the way into the book. and I already love it as I prepare for my first "real" music directing gig this winter. The writing is engaging with a real voice behind it (very readable). and the advice and guidelines clearly come from deep experience. My favorite part about the advice given in the book so far is that it is realistic and practical--the author acknowledges the quirks (and offers excellent advice for dealing with those quirks!) that come from working in the non-professional theater world of high school. college. and community theater productions. Highly recommend!!
