The Stupa is more than an ancient symbol - it is a vibrating form. An interesting point is that the Stupa (traditional Buddhist architecture) is actually a form of Siva lingam. What most people do not know is that the Siva lingam is actually a visual form that encodes the process of energy transforming itself into matter (consciousness manifesting itself as the material world). The Stupa/lingam is made with certain mathematical principles that cause the Stupa - when built properly- to vibrate with specific qualities that are passed on to the people in its presence. It is in fact an energy generator. Anyone trying to build a Stupa who does not know the math is at risk of building something that vibrates with less than desirable energy.
