A collection of wise and witty quotes from and inspired by Jim Henson similar in format to The World According to Mister Rogers. "When I was young; it was my ambition to be one of the people who made a difference in this world. My hope is to leave the world a little better for my having been there. Its a wonderful life and I love it." -Jim Henson "Yeah; well; Ive got a dream too. But its about singing and dancing and making people happy. Thats the kind of dream that gets better the more people you share it with. And; well; Ive found a whole bunch of friends who have the same dream. And; it kind of makes us like a family." -Kermit the Frog; The Muppet Movie

HarveyIt is a good book. however I only gave 3 stars because it represents itself as a shape book. There are NO shapes. Numbers 0 to 9. abcs. a couple of coloring pages. Book is good. but I wanted shapes with cute faces.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. A Good Bit of Number and Letter Images Covered By Illustrations. No Lower Case LettersBy AndyThis is one of a few coloring books I bought a while back to try and back door some preschool concepts in with our son. who has some specialized needs that come with global developmental delays. while we practiced scribbling. So the rating comes from me. if he could give any coloring book zero stars. thats all theyd ever get...because coloring is definitely a dirty word as far as hes concerned ;)So. in my opinion. this coloring book has a couple of things that make it less useful for teaching preschool facts. First. with both the numbers and the letters. a fair bit of the actual number or letter shape is obstructed by the illustrations. Now. the illustrations are cute. but it does make it harder to teach or reinforce teaching about what the actual numbers and letters look like when this is the case. I also felt that by limiting the representation of the letters to only capital letters. it commits what I consider to be a bit of a sin in any alphabet item for young children...omitting lower case letters. Most of the letters kiddos will need to read and decode are lower case. so I think at the very least both lower and upper case should be shown. I think in order for this book to be more effective as a learning supplement. these things would need to be changed.I think if youre not planning on using it for that. this is cute enough. but Im guessing if youre not planning on reinforcing teaching with this. your kiddo probably has favorite characters theyd rather be coloring for fun. So overall. I think this is an ok coloring book. but its not one I recommend if you really are concerned about using this to reinforce learning concepts.2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Free preview bookBy K. R.Wasnt really aware that this Kindle book was just a preview/sample of the physical coloring book. but still it was interesting to look at. I used my Fire HD 10 tablet to access this book. and it would only let me view it in the landscape mode. The book consists of three pages for parents - explaining the benefits of kids using coloring books and 17 of the individual coloring book pages. There are a variety of generic super-heroes to color. the style range from simple to more complex. Im guessing this amount is just a sample of the pages. and that there are more in the actual book. The samples are all of single figures in a heroic pose - with no backgrounds. The figures would probably interest young kids more so than tweens.
