KnoblerThis is a small. but very informative guide to the clothing of villages of Chiapas where villagers can still be identified by their typical blouses. dresses. shirts. etc.. that are still being worn. In many cases the images on these textiles date back even to pre-Columbian times. Chip Morris gives examples from many villages and also discusses the meaning of various symbols used. as well as the types of weaving used.
